Master Mark Biviano Around the World
Master Biviano has been officiating at some of the most prestigious TKD tournaments all over the world:
* Late November 2007: New Caledonia (off the coast of Australia) to officiate the Oceanian Olympic Qualifier.
* Early November 2007: Tripoli, Libya for the African Qualifying Tournament for the 2008 Olympics.
* September 2007: Manchester, England for the World Olympic Qualification Tournament.
* August 2007: Colorado Springs, Colorado, USA for the U.S. Olympic Team Trials at the Olympic Training Center.
RESULTS from May 5, 2007: 2007 Ringmaster Open Taekwondo Championship
This tournament was held Saturday, May 5th, 2007 at the Marlborough High School Field House in Marlborough, Massachusetts.
Ray Willard took Silver Medal in Sparring.
Jason Combs took Gold Medal in Sparring.
RESULTS: National Qualifiers in Providence, Rhode Island.
On April 21st-22nd, 2007, several of our students from Fayetteville and North Syracuse competed at the Rhode Island Convention Center in Providence, Rhode Island. This event is one of six qualifiers held around the country that decides who can compete in Junior Olympics and Senior Nationals. Following are some results:
Jacob Brazie received Gold Medals for Sparring and Poomse.
Angelica Curto received a Bronze Medal in Poomse and Silver Medal for Sparring.
Elijah Kelly received a Silver Medal for a Sparring.
Jesse Lucchetti received a Silver Medal for Sparring.
Kara Capozza received a Gold Medal for Poomse and Silver Medal for Sparring.
Ruth Rogers won Gold Medals for Sparring and Poomse.
Trevor Rogers received a Bronze Medal for Poomse.
Congratulations to everyone and a warm thank you to all the families that went to support their competitors. Thanks also to Mr. Randall for going down to coach all our competitors.
RESULTS: 2007 New York State Tae Kwon Do Championship
This tournament was held March 31, 2007 at Queens College in Flushing NY and was hosted by the New York State Tae Kwon Do Association. Results are as follows:
Jamie Biviano received a Gold Medal in Sparring.
Chloe Gingold received Gold Medals in both Poomse and Breaking.
Amina Gingold received Gold Medal in Poomse and Silver Medal in Breaking.
Jesse Lucchetti received Gold Medal in Sparring.
Nick Lucchetti received Silver Medal in Poomse.
Ray Willard received a Gold Medal in Sparring.
Jason Combs received a Gold Medal in Sparring.
Mr. Mel Henderson received a Silver Medal in Sparring.

RESULTS: 3rd Annual Kristen O’Neill Memorial Tournament This tournament was Sunday, March 25, 2007 at SUNY Cortland. This tournament was a non-profit event in which all net proceeds went to a scholarship fund in Kristen’s name. Congratulations to Suzy Parker for her Silver Medal for Poomse at the 3rd Kristin O’Neil Memorial Tournament. While we had nearly twenty students compete at the 3rd U.S. Hong Ik Tae Kwon Do Championship tournament this same weekend, Suzy was the only student representing us at this event.
RESULTS: National Qualifiers in Dallas, TX
Master Biviano was a referee at the National Qualifiers in Dallas, TX on March 17th-18th, 2007.
Paige Biviano received Silver Medals for Sparring and Poomse. Congratulations, Paige!
2007 Master’s Cup
On January 6th, 2007, nine of our students along with Mr. Randall as their coach traveled to Philadelphia, PA to compete in the 2007 Master’s Cup.
Here are the results:
DeNyesha Hampton received a Gold in both Poomse and Breaking, and bronze in Sparring.
Dylan Majka received a Bronze in Sparring.
Elijah Kelly received a Gold Medal in Sparring and a Bronze in Poomse.
Ryan Jones received a Gold Medal in Poomse.
Paige Biviano received Silver Medals for both Sparring and Poomse.
Kara Capozza received a Bronze Medal in Poomse.
Lisa Majka received Gold Medals in both Poomse and Sparring.
Ray Willard received a Silver Medal in Sparring and Dan Napolitano received his Gold Medal in Sparring after trading blow for blow with Ray in several grueling matches, thankfully they’ve both come in one piece.
