Here are some photos of Master Biviano's 5th Dan Test 12-13-06. Master Biviano performed a number of regular poomses and one with a sword. He then kicked an apple off the tip of a knife with jump spinning round house kick (without the loss of any toes). A six-board break followed the destruction of the apple. With the help of his grandson, Master Biviano explained to the crowd that because he was now a grandfather, the cane seemed like an appropriate choice for his weapon demonstration. He then went on to prove how effective the cane can be as a weapon against a well-padded (and very brave) Scott Gingold. He then did a sparring demonstration against three attackers.
