Personal Fitness Training

Our Weight Training / Exercise Room at our Fayetteville Facility is fully equiped with two treadmills, an excercise bike, various weight machines, and free-weights. The floor is fully padded and one wall has mirrors. Use of this room requires a special membership option.

Instructor Mr. David Kennedy We also offer personal fitness training programs with our 3rd Degree Black Belt instructor, Mr. David Kennedy. A certified strength and conditioning specialist, he is a graduate student in Exercise Science at Syracuse University. Besides the SU Athletic Complex weight room, he worked at several local facilities before opening up his program with World Class Tae Kwon Do.

Mr. Kennedy's program features functional training techniques using multiple modalities: medicine balls, stability (physio) ball, lifeline cables, body weight, free weights, and machines. He can custom design programs for adolescents, adults, and senior citizens. The initial focus is on strengthening the trunk stabilizers and joint structures, and then building a solid strength foundation.

While not typically part of the personal training session, aerobic exercise is strongly encouraged as part of your overall fitness program. Treadmills are available on premises and your aerobic fitness will be monitored.
